RTP Version Tracker: which build each casino runs

Review sites — this one included — normally quote a slot's default RTP. This page records what we actually observed at each casino, one dated reading at a time. If we couldn't measure a cell, it stays empty and the reason is written down. Background on why builds differ at all is in the companion guide, The RTP Version Problem.

Key facts
  • Sweet Bonanza's game engine reported 96.49% base RTP (96.60% in Ante Bet mode) at Gamdom, Rainbet, Stake and 7Bit on 17 September 2026, read from Pragmatic Play's doInit response on each casino's own demo launch (tier A).
  • BitStarz's in-game paytable showed 96.52% on 15 September 2026; the 0.03-point gap to the engine consensus is unreconciled because the game page demanded login on 17 September.
  • Two page labels disagree with their own engines: Stake prints 96.50% and 7Bit 96.51% against engine readings of 96.49% (both read 17 September 2026); Gamdom and Rainbet label the engine figure exactly.
  • Roobet (16 September), Rollbit and Cloudbet (17 September 2026) could not be measured: demo play needs an account or launches through an encrypted aggregator.
  • Duel does not carry the original Sweet Bonanza; its Sweet Bonanza 1000 page implies 96.55% from a "House Edge 3,45%" stat (tier B, 17 September 2026), within rounding of the 96.53% provider default.
  • 16 flagship slots are listed and 2 have readings so far; every engine reading is a demo-mode measurement, so a difference between casinos is strong evidence and identical values are weaker.

How is each RTP reading taken?

By launching the slot from the casino's own game page in demo mode and reading the RTP the game engine was handed, not the label on the page. For Pragmatic Play titles the client's initialisation call returns an rtp= field; where that is unreadable we fall back to the in-game paytable, then to the operator's page label, and we publish the tier with every number.

How a reading is taken: we launch the game in demo/fun mode from the casino's own game page (or its demo iframe URL directly). For Pragmatic Play titles, the game client's initialisation call to the provider's game server (gameService, doInit) returns an rtp= field — the RTP the engine has been configured to run for that operator's launch. Where the engine can't be read, we fall back to the game's in-game paytable/info screen, and below that to the operator's own page label. Every published figure carries one of three tiers:

  • Tier A — in-game paytable/info (demo mode, the game client's own RTP line, including engine doInit readings): authoritative for that casino's build.
  • Tier B — operator game-page listing (RTP shown on the casino's own lobby/game page): what the casino claims; can lag the actual build.
  • Tier C — provider default (the studio's published max RTP): reference line only, not a casino measurement.

Caveats that ride with every cell: all engine readings so far are demo-mode launches, and demo launches may be served a shared default configuration rather than the operator's real-money build — so a difference between two casinos is meaningful evidence, while identical values across casinos are weaker evidence. Readings were made from Finland; some operators serve region-specific builds, so your vantage point may differ. Builds can change at any time — the in-game paytable of the game you are about to play is the authoritative source, always.

Which RTP build does each casino run?

For Sweet Bonanza, every engine we could read runs the 96.49% build: Gamdom, Rainbet, Stake and 7Bit (17 September 2026). BitStarz's paytable showed 96.52% (15 September). Roobet, Rollbit and Cloudbet are unmeasured, and Duel only carries the 1000 edition at a page-implied 96.55%. The other 15 slots are queued for the monthly passes.

Rows are the flagship slots we track; columns are casinos. A filled cell shows observed RTP · tier · read date. "n/m" means we attempted a reading and could not get one (the numbered note says why). "—" means not yet measured — cells are added as the monthly reads complete, never guessed. The "Default" column is the provider's headline figure (tier C) from our 254-slot database, shown for reference only.

Why are some cells empty or flagged?

Because we only publish what we observed. Three casinos gate demo play or route it through aggregators we cannot inspect, one casino's page copy disagrees with its own engine by a hundredth of a point, and one reading could not be re-checked at engine level. Each numbered note below records the attempt, the date and the reason.

  1. BitStarz, Sweet Bonanza: 96.52% read from the in-game paytable/game details in demo mode on 2026-09-15. On 2026-09-17 the game page demanded login (no demo toggle found), so an engine-level re-check was not possible without an account. We keep the 09-15 reading but flag the 0.03pp gap versus the 96.49% engine consensus at other casinos as unreconciled — it may reflect a genuinely different operator configuration, or a paytable label on a different build family; re-verification is queued for the October pass.
  2. Gamdom / Rainbet / Stake / 7Bit, Sweet Bonanza: engine init (gameService doInit) reported rtp=96.49 base, with 96.60% in Ante Bet mode, on each operator's own demo launch (distinct operator style IDs confirmed per launch). Gamdom's and Rainbet's lobby labels agree at 96.49%.
  3. Stake: the casino's game-page text says "RTP of 96.50%" — the page copy overstates the engine figure by 0.01pp.
  4. 7Bit: the casino's page copy claims 96.51% RTP and a "211x maximum win" (sic — the game's real ceiling is 21,100x); the copy overstates the engine figure by 0.02pp.
  5. Roobet: demo requires login (Fun Mode without an account is refused) — not measurable without an account. Attempted 2026-09-16.
  6. Rollbit: no demo mode without login — the game URL redirects to the lobby with no demo/fun option. Attempted 2026-09-17.
  7. Cloudbet: a "Demo play" option exists but launches through an encrypted third-party aggregator — engine unreadable this pass. Attempted 2026-09-17.
  8. Duel: does not carry the original Sweet Bonanza — only the 1000 and 2500 editions. Checked 2026-09-17.
  9. Duel, Sweet Bonanza 1000: 96.55% implied by the game-page stat (the page shows "House Edge 3,45%"); the For Fun mode launches via an encrypted aggregator, so the engine could not be read — hence tier B, the casino's own claim rather than a game-client reading. The implied figure sits within rounding of the provider's published default (maximum) build — 96.53%, a 3.47% edge — which is consistent with Duel's positioning of running un-reduced builds, but it is not engine-confirmed.

When is the tracker updated?

Monthly: the first pass ran 15–17 September 2026 and the October pass is pending as of 6 October 2026. Every change, including a build moving between reads, is logged in the table below with its date; no cell is ever filled from a database or another site's table.

We re-read measurable cells monthly and log every change here, including builds that move between reads. New casinos and slots are added as readings are actually taken — a row never fills in from a database or another site's table.

DateChange
2026‑09‑17Tracker launched with the first measurement pass (readings 2026-09-15 to 2026-09-17). Sweet Bonanza engine-read at Gamdom, Rainbet, Stake and 7Bit (all 96.49% base / 96.60% Ante Bet); BitStarz in-game reading of 96.52% (09-15) carried forward flagged unreconciled; Roobet, Rollbit and Cloudbet not measurable this pass (see notes); Duel carries only Sweet Bonanza 1000, page-labelled 96.55%. Page-label-vs-engine discrepancies recorded at Stake (+0.01pp) and 7Bit (+0.02pp).

Tracker FAQ

Which Sweet Bonanza RTP version does Stake run?

Stake's demo launch of Sweet Bonanza reported 96.49% base RTP and 96.60% in Ante Bet mode from the game engine on 17 September 2026. Stake's own game page says 96.50%, a 0.01-point overstatement of the engine figure. Treat the reading as a demo-mode measurement; the real-money paytable is authoritative.

Does BitStarz run a different Sweet Bonanza RTP from other casinos?

Possibly, but it is unconfirmed. BitStarz's in-game paytable showed 96.52% on 15 September 2026, 0.03 points above the 96.49% engine reading at Gamdom, Rainbet, Stake and 7Bit. On 17 September the game page required login, so an engine-level re-check is queued for the October pass.

Why can't the tracker read Roobet, Rollbit or Cloudbet?

Roobet refuses Fun Mode without an account (attempted 16 September 2026), Rollbit redirects the game URL to the lobby with no demo option, and Cloudbet's demo launches through an encrypted aggregator whose traffic cannot be inspected (both attempted 17 September 2026). Those cells stay empty rather than guessed.

Is the RTP shown on a casino's game page accurate?

Not always. In the September 2026 pass, Stake's page copy said 96.50% and 7Bit's 96.51% while both engines reported 96.49%; Gamdom and Rainbet labelled 96.49% exactly. Page copy is marketing text; the engine configuration and the in-game paytable are what settle your spins.
