Responsible gambling
The honest maths
This site is about finding the best odds — but "best odds" still means the casino wins in the long run. A 98% RTP slot keeps 2% of everything wagered over millions of spins; a 96% slot keeps 4%. RTP is a long-run theoretical average, not a per-session guarantee: you can lose your whole balance on a 99% slot in an afternoon. High RTP makes the odds less bad, never good. If you ever catch yourself thinking a slot owes you a win, or trying to win back losses, stop — that is exactly when gambling stops being safe.

Warning signs
Consider seeking help if you: gamble more than you can afford; chase losses; borrow money or sell things to gamble; lie about how much you gamble; feel anxious, guilty or irritable about it; or gamble to escape problems or low mood. You don't have to hit a crisis point to reach out — the helpline is free and confidential.
Practical safer-play tools
- Set deposit and loss limits before you play — every UK-licensed casino must offer these in account settings.
- Use reality checks and session timers to stay aware of time and spend; UK slots now show your net win/loss, time and spend during play by law.
- Take a time-out (a cooling-off period) or self-exclude at the operator, or sitewide via GAMSTOP.
- Turn off marketing emails and texts if promotions tempt you to play.
- Never gamble with money for bills, rent or essentials, on credit, or to win back losses.
The 2025 UK rules that protect you
Since 17 January 2025, GB-licensed online slots must run a minimum 2.5-second spin and cannot offer autoplay, turbo or quick-spin, must not simulate or celebrate wins at or below your stake, and must display your net position, time and spend as you play. These Remote Technical Standards exist to slow play down and keep you informed — they're on your side.
